PROCESSING REQUESTS FOR TOUR GUIDING

Tours are organized upon request of any travel agency, government agency, nongovernment organization, or any interested party inclusive of coordination with the tourist site operator/owner/proprietor. Necessary assistance such as guide, police, traffic enforcers, and first aiders are provided as well. Base on Local Code on Tourism (Ordinance 22-55) Section 29 pg. 13 Fees: Entrance Fee for areas not covered by PAMB - P 30.00 / head Tour Guide - P 500.00 / 10 pax Entrance Fee for areas covered by PAMB - P 300.00 / head Breakdown: Day Tour & Overnight Local Government Unit (for Tourism Programs) - P 50.00 Barangay (To cover improvement in facilities in the tourism destination) - P 50.00 PAMB (To cover for environmental protection and reservation) - P 200.00 Guide - P1,000.00/day 1:5 (summit) - P 7000.00/day 1:5 (camp 2) -P 400.00/day 1:5 (camp 1) *1 day starts at 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Porter -P 1,000.00 per 15 kgs / day Tent Fee/Camp Set-up (For the organization managing the maintenance *amount to be determined area to cover by the organization and rental equipment

1. Have the Request Letter addressed to the Tayabas City Mayor thru Mr. Koko P. Pataunia, Supervising Tourism Operations Officer/ OIC-TCAO. The request letter via email is also valid.

1.1 The employee will receive or stamp the letter request. If via email, the email will be acknowledged and reply as soon as the email is received.

2. Discuss the itinerary or places intended to visit, the number of tourists to join the tour, date and time of arrival. Fill-up the Tour Guiding Form and submit the attendance form to determine the no. of pax.

2.1 The personnel will take note of the date and time of the tour, acknowledge the Tour Guiding Form and attendance and inform the client for the fees to be collected.

3. Wait for the call/ approval.

3.1 Call the client when the letter of request is approved by the Supervising Tourism Operations Officer and issue order of payment

4. Pay the fee/s at the City Treasurer’s Office, Photocopy the receipt, and submit the copy at the Office of the City Tourism Administration Section.

4.1 Receive and keep the Xerox copy of the official receipt of payment, contact the tour guide, and facilitate the tour at the date and time requested.
