Mandate and work
The Traffic Operations Section enforces traffic rules and regulations to maintain order and safety on Tayabas roads. It manages apprehension settlements, conducts inspections of tricycles and other public conveyances, and ensures compliance with local and national traffic standards. The office also coordinates with partner agencies and barangay units to implement traffic management programs and education campaigns.
By improving traffic flow and compliance, it supports commerce, mobility, and daily convenience for residents. The section uses data-informed measures to address congestion hotspots and enhance road safety. Its work contributes to a safer, more efficient transport system and a community culture of responsible road use.
