The DRRMO leads preparedness, response, and recovery for disasters and emergencies. It conducts trainings, drills, and community education to build risk awareness and resilience. The office manages incident recording and coordinates emergency assistance and first‑aid services.
It integrates risk reduction into local development planning and works with partners across sectors. Rapid response and early recovery restore essential services and livelihoods. The office safeguards lives, assets, and continuity of governance.
