The duties and responsibilities of a Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) include streamlining business registration, processing and issuing permits and licenses, collecting business taxes and fees, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring business activities, and promoting ease of doing business within the locality. The BPLO acts as a one-stop shop, managing the entire process from application review to issuance and renewal of permits to facilitate local revenue generation and economic activity.
